Polycap TC 36 capsule filter device with filling bell by Whatman is a disposable dual layer sterile polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filtration capsule. The PES membrane is inherently hydrophilic has low extractables is bio-safe has excellent flow rates and exhibits low protein binding. Maximum pressure is 60psi (4.1 bar). Fittings (Inlet/Outlet): Stepped Barb (1/4 to 3/8-Inch). Filtration Area: 440cm². Pore Size: 0.2/0.1µm. Housing: polypropylene. Vent: on inlet. Membrane: polyethersulfone (PES). Support system: polypropylene. Sealing: heat-fused. Flow direction: if there is a prefilter, it is located on the inlet side and flow should follow arrows.
Applications: aqueous solutions, biologicals, buffers, cleaning/rinsing solutions, enzymes, high-quality water, particle counting solutions, pharmaceutical solutions, reagent preparation, salt solutions, tissue culture media, virus suspensions.
