RLS 100ml Molded (Molded) Amber Glass Serum Vial distributed by Med Lab Supply, are heavier borosilicate glass make. Ideal for long and short term sample storage and lyophilization (freeze drying). Molded serum vials (also known as Molded Serum Bottles) are heavier with thicker glass walls . Our RLS brand molded vials are identical to common "Wheaton Molded Headspace" vials and conforms to USP Type I requirements. Durable, heat and chemical resistant. Sealable with a 20 mm stopper and 20 mm aluminum seal. (Sold Separately). Our vials are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are equivalent in quality to Kimble Chase and Wheaton vials. The manufacturing process for our RLS "molded" vials is different than that of our RLS "tubular". Please note that unlike our clean tubular vials, molded vials have a fine silica dust on them that must be washed off before use. Also, Open vials are not "sterile" vials, so sterilization and cleaning will be required to hold sterile specimens as per your lab/clinic/research needs.
