Cyralux 13 mm sterile ready-to-use (RTU) lyophilization stoppers are pharmaceutical-grade, dark-gray, latex-free bromobutyl elastomer closures designed for freeze-dried injectable products in 13 mm crimp-finish glass vials. The two-leg (igloo) vented design permits vapor escape while the stopper is partially inserted during the freeze-drying cycle, then seats fully under lyophilizer shelf pressure. Typical compatible vial formats include 2R / 3 mL; verify fit and container closure integrity with your complete vial-and-seal configuration.
Engineered for higher-volume production planning and repeat purchasing, these closures use the same Cyralux™ bromobutyl formulation as the wider stopper family. Their flange and top geometry are designed to reduce sticking to lyophilizer shelves and support automated pre-placement. The 13 mm finish is intended for standard crimp-neck injection vials, including European blowback, North American blowback and straight-wall (no-blowback) ISO vial configurations.
Each 1,000-count sterile-barrier bag contains RTU stoppers processed with validated WFI-grade washing, standard siliconization, 100% automated vision inspection and terminal sterilization. Double-bagged packaging supports staged introduction into controlled environments and reduces the need for in-house washing, siliconization and sterilization before use. The 1,000-count bag is intended for teams planning larger filling campaigns or standardized purchasing, subject to approved process and supplier qualification.
For purchasing and quality review, request the available Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Conformance, sterilization certificate, lot traceability and technical drawings. Confirm the specific sterilization method, shelf-life dating and supporting compatibility/CCI data for your application.
