Benchmark Scientific Hybex Series Glass Media Bottles

Hybex Media Bottles are reusable and manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. This allows for very low coefficients of thermal expansion, making Hybex Media Bottles superior in resisting thermal shock (high temperature changes), verses standard lab glass (or soda lime glass). Hybex media bottles / reagent / storage bottles, are also chemical resistance, and ideal for storage of reagents, culture media, biological fluids, as well as a variety of other aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.
Hybex glass can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, permitting repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers. Media bottles have permanent enamel graduated marking for volume measurements and large marking areas for easy identification/coding. Med Lab Supply carries a variety of permanent and water soluble pens, crayons, and markers for use with all lab glassware we carry.
All Hybex Media bottle from the B3000 series include a drip-free sealing ring as well as a standard polypropylene (GL45) sealing cap*. Bottles come with your choice of blue, green, white, and yellow caps colors. Available separately: replacement caps in all colors and High temperature red cap (PBT Plastic - Up to 180C)
GL45 thread size fits all of the 45mm bottle top vacuum filters that we carry.
