RLS 10ml Tubular (Tall) Clear Crimp Top Headspace Glass Serum Vials

RLS 10ml Tubular (Tall) Clear Crimp Top Headspace Glass Serum Vials RLS 10mL Tubular Clear Glass Serum Vials by Med Lab Supply are sealable with a 20 mm stopper and 20 mm aluminum seal. (Sold Separately).  The tubular series of RLS vials are clean, dust free, and shrink wrapped to ensure they remain that way. All RLS tubular open serum vials are USP TYPE 1 borosilicate 7.0 glass which meets DIN - ISO standard 3585.  This is the lightest, strongest, and most chemical and heat resistant lab glass available. More durable and lighter in weight than molded vials/bottles.  These vials are the equivalent of the now discontinued Kimble "Short", specifications match in every way, with better borosilicate 7.0 tubing. The image below pictures the actual vial. The vial on the right is filled exactly to 5 ml. The vial on the left is filled to it’s maximum capacity of 10ml, which brings the liquid right to the neck with room still left for the rubber stopper.

Serum vials are ideally suited for the handling, containment and storage of a variety of liquids, chemicals, chromatography samples and more. Serum Vials have special design that adds strength for freeze drying applications. Vials are autoclavable. Vials have a blow back design that provide easily insert of lyophilization stoppers.
