Autofil is a disposable, sterile, vacuum operated laboratory filtration system for the sterile preparation of buffers, tissue culture media, microbiological media, and other biological fluids. Bottle design includes ergonomic bottle shape, molded finger grips and patented bottle cap. Autofil asymmetric PES membrane bottle-top filters are extremely low protein binding and surfactant free. Large surface area and optimum performance means reduced filtration times and improved productivity. The funnel and bottle are made from low extractable polystyrene tested to meet USP Class VI and FDA requirements. Non-cytotoxic and pyrogen free.
Designed for filter sterilization of liquids such as biological fluids, cell culture media, and buffers. Conveniently fits on top of most laboratory media bottles with a GL45 thread and works well with Autofil Cradle Ring. Pore sizes available: 0.2μm and 0.45μm. The Autofil system also includes a stable, low profile pedestal base with a permanent vacuum hose connection.
This feature eliminates a time-consuming and inconvenient step in your process. With Autofil, connect the vacuum once to the pedestal base. Each time a new filtration unit is placed on the base, Quick-Connect Technology ensures that the vacuum connection is automatic. This PES filter is specifically designed to handle harder loads, while maintaining the highest flow rates in the industry. The filters are Gamma sterilized in the USA. BPA-Free
